Every SPM Physics teacher on our team meets the same standard before they teach a student. We are a specialist service — SPM Physics is all we do — and that focus sets the bar for who teaches it.
What we look for
When we consider a Physics teacher, we look for four things:
- Real teaching experience, a track record of teaching students, not just knowing the subject.
- SPM Physics subject knowledge, a strong command of the Form 4 and Form 5 syllabus (SPM Physics 4531) and the way it is examined.
- Clear explanation, the ability to make calculations make sense step by step, and to teach Paper 3 technique so a student can actually reproduce it.
- Comfort teaching one-to-one online in English, because that is how every lesson runs.
The standard in practice
We look at how each teacher explains a topic and confirm the experience they bring before they teach a student, and we hold every teacher on the team to the same standard.
One standard, every teacher
This consistent standard is why a student assigned any teacher on our team gets the same experienced, exam-focused teaching.
