Form 4 and Form 5 at Sri KDU Secondary School
Form 4 students at Sri KDU Secondary School spend most of the year on Measurement, Force and Motion, Gravitation, Heat, Waves and Light; Form 5 adds Electricity, Electromagnetism, Electronics, Nuclear and Quantum Physics on top. A one-to-one teacher can keep the earlier chapters alive while the school moves on, the Paper 1 objective questions draw on all thirteen.
Where the marks actually go
In Paper 2, marks are awarded line by line, for the formula, the substitution, the unit and the final answer. Many these students write only the answer and lose the method marks.
Our teachers train the full layout until it is automatic, so a student earns every mark their understanding deserves.
Paper 3 marks you can win from home
Paper 3 rewards science-process skills, reading a graph, drawing the best-fit line, finding the gradient with units, and stating a sound conclusion. These are some of the most recoverable marks in the whole exam, and a these student can practise every one of them at home from example data.
No laboratory is needed for the skills the paper actually tests.
