We help SPM Physics students in Changlun, Form 4 and Form 5, with online one-to-one lessons taught by experienced teachers. Lessons are in English, the fee is from RM50/hr (the exact rate is quoted on WhatsApp).
Why online 1-to-1 works for Changlun students
Being in Kedah rather than a big centre changes nothing about the exam: a Changlun student sits the same 4531 papers as everyone else. What online 1-to-1 changes is access, the same experienced teacher for a student near UUM (nearby) as for one in the capital, at the same rate, without a single trip.
Changlun sits near UUM, lifting study focus. The area is home to university-edge families in Changlun.
Whatever school a Changlun student attends, the SPM Physics syllabus (code 4531) is the same, and a one-to-one teacher can spend the entire lesson on the exact chapter and question type that student keeps losing marks on, rather than the pace of a class of forty.
Where the marks actually go
In Paper 2, marks are awarded line by line, for the formula, the substitution, the unit and the final answer. Many Changlun students write only the answer and lose the method marks.
Our teachers train the full layout until it is automatic, so a student earns every mark their understanding deserves.
Paper 3 marks you can win from home
Paper 3 rewards science-process skills, reading a graph, drawing the best-fit line, finding the gradient with units, and stating a sound conclusion. These are some of the most recoverable marks in the whole exam, and a Changlun student can practise every one of them at home from example data.
No laboratory is needed for the skills the paper actually tests.
How we spend the time
Because the lesson is one-to-one, a Changlun student's hour is spent only on what they need: the concept first, then the equation, then a fresh question they attempt while the teacher watches and corrects the working in real time.
Trial-exam season in Changlun
When school trial exams arrive, the marked paper becomes the lesson plan: each lost mark is traced to a missing unit, a wrong rearrangement or a definition that was nearly right, and the following weeks target exactly those.
We also tutor students in nearby Jitra, Alor Setar and Kangar, so families moving between Changlun and the surrounding area keep the same teacher and the same plan.
Secondary schools in Changlun
According to the official KPM secondary-school list (as at 30 June 2022), Changlun has 2 secondary schools teaching roughly 1,940 students, including 2 national secondary schools (SMK). Among the largest are Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Changlun (1,090 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Hosba (850 students).
Most sit in the town centre.
Every one teaches the same national SPM Physics syllabus (code 4531), so whatever school a Changlun student attends, a one-to-one online lesson can go straight to the chapter they keep losing marks on. We are an independent service, not affiliated with any of these schools, and make no ranking or results claims.
