How the sessions fit a Ipoh timetable

From understanding to marks
Plenty of Ipoh students can explain a concept but still lose marks when a question says "calculate". We spend the lesson on that gap: writing down what is given, converting units first, picking the formula, and showing every line of working so no method marks are dropped.
Because it is one-to-one, the teacher sees exactly where a student's working goes wrong and corrects it on the spot.
Practical skills without a lab
Many Ipoh families assume Paper 3 needs lab equipment. In fact the marks come from tabulating data, plotting a careful graph, taking a gradient, and explaining the result, all of which we practise online with real example datasets.
It is often the fastest grade improvement a student can make.
Form 4 or Form 5?
For a Form 4 student in Ipoh the goal is a clean foundation, Measurement, Force and Motion, Gravitation, Heat, Waves, Light, because every Form 5 chapter builds on it. For a Form 5 student the clock matters more: we map the remaining chapters against the weeks left and spend lessons where marks are most recoverable.

According to the official KPM secondary-school list (as at 30 June 2022), Ipoh has 42 secondary schools teaching roughly 32,143 students, including 33 national secondary schools (SMK), 4 government-aided religious schools (SABK), 2 Form Six centres, 2 vocational colleges (KV). Among the largest are Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sam Tet (1,774 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tasek Damai (1,709 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Ave Maria Convent (1,477 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Yuk Choy (1,272 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan St.
Michael (1,226 students). Most sit in the town centre.
Every one teaches the same national SPM Physics syllabus (code 4531), so whatever school a Ipoh student attends, a one-to-one online lesson can go straight to the chapter they keep losing marks on.
