We help SPM Physics students in Kerteh, Form 4 and Form 5, with online one-to-one lessons taught by experienced teachers. Lessons are in English, the fee is from RM50/hr (the exact rate is quoted on WhatsApp).
Why online 1-to-1 works for Kerteh students
Kerteh sits in Terengganu, close to Kerteh petrochemical hub and Paka (nearby). Because our lessons are fully online, a student anywhere around Kerteh petrochemical hub joins from home, no travel after school, no time lost in traffic, and the whole hour goes on Physics.
That matters most in the weeks before SPM, when every evening counts. It also widens the choice of teacher: a Kerteh student is assigned the right teacher from our team, not just whoever is nearby.
Kerteh's oil-and-gas base drives strong engineering interest; SMK feed it. Families here are industry families in Kerteh.
Whatever school a Kerteh student attends, the SPM Physics syllabus (code 4531) is the same, and a one-to-one teacher can spend the entire lesson on the exact chapter and question type that student keeps losing marks on, rather than the pace of a class of forty.
From understanding to marks
Plenty of Kerteh students can explain a concept but still lose marks when a question says "calculate". We spend the lesson on that gap: writing down what is given, converting units first, picking the formula, and showing every line of working so no method marks are dropped.
Because it is one-to-one, the teacher sees exactly where a student's working goes wrong and corrects it on the spot.
Paper 3 marks you can win from home
Paper 3 rewards science-process skills, reading a graph, drawing the best-fit line, finding the gradient with units, and stating a sound conclusion. These are some of the most recoverable marks in the whole exam, and a Kerteh student can practise every one of them at home from example data.
No laboratory is needed for the skills the paper actually tests.
What a lesson looks like
A Kerteh student joins by video call from home. The teacher opens with a quick check to find the exact standard they are stuck on, teaches the idea in plain English with a clear diagram, then works through it as a calculation, step by step.
The student tries an exam-style question with full working, and the hour ends with a short plan for the week.
Form 4 or Form 5?
For a Form 4 student in Kerteh the goal is a clean foundation, Measurement, Force and Motion, Gravitation, Heat, Waves, Light, because every Form 5 chapter builds on it. For a Form 5 student the clock matters more: we map the remaining chapters against the weeks left and spend lessons where marks are most recoverable.
We also tutor students in nearby Kemaman, Dungun and Kuantan, so families moving between Kerteh and the surrounding area keep the same teacher and the same plan.
Secondary schools in Kerteh
According to the official KPM secondary-school list (as at 30 June 2022), Kerteh has 4 secondary schools teaching roughly 1,740 students, including 4 national secondary schools (SMK). Among the largest are Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Kerteh (770 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Kampung Baru Kerteh (403 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Rantau Petronas (338 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Rasau Kerteh B5 (229 students).
Most sit in the town centre.
Every one teaches the same national SPM Physics syllabus (code 4531), so whatever school a Kerteh student attends, a one-to-one online lesson can go straight to the chapter they keep losing marks on. We are an independent service, not affiliated with any of these schools, and make no ranking or results claims.
