We help SPM Physics students in Masai, Form 4 and Form 5, with online one-to-one lessons taught by experienced teachers. Lessons are in English, the fee is from RM50/hr (the exact rate is quoted on WhatsApp).
Why online 1-to-1 works for Masai students
Masai sits in Johor, close to Masai town and Bandar Seri Alam. Because our lessons are fully online, a student anywhere around Masai town joins from home, no travel after school, no time lost in traffic, and the whole hour goes on Physics.
That matters most in the weeks before SPM, when every evening counts. It also widens the choice of teacher: a Masai student is assigned the right teacher from our team, not just whoever is nearby.
Masai's SMK serve east JB's industrial belt. The area is home to industry-linked families in Masai.
Whatever school a Masai student attends, the SPM Physics syllabus (code 4531) is the same, and a one-to-one teacher can spend the entire lesson on the exact chapter and question type that student keeps losing marks on, rather than the pace of a class of forty.
Closing the calculation gap
The most common reason Masai students lose Physics marks is not the idea, it is the working. In a one-to-one lesson the teacher watches the student actually solve a problem, and fixes the exact step that breaks: listing the known quantities with their units, choosing the right formula, substituting cleanly, and rounding to the correct number of significant figures.
That habit, drilled a few times, is worth several marks a paper.
Practical skills without a lab
Many Masai families assume Paper 3 needs lab equipment. In fact the marks come from tabulating data, plotting a careful graph, taking a gradient, and explaining the result, all of which we practise online with real example datasets.
It is often the fastest grade improvement a student can make.
What a lesson looks like
A Masai student joins by video call from home. The teacher opens with a quick check to find the exact standard they are stuck on, teaches the idea in plain English with a clear diagram, then works through it as a calculation, step by step.
The student tries an exam-style question with full working, and the hour ends with a short plan for the week.
The weekly rhythm
Most Masai students take one hour a week, rising to two in the month before a school exam or SPM. Between lessons the student attempts a small set of questions; the teacher marks them at the start of the next hour, so nothing stays misunderstood for long.
We also tutor students in nearby Johor Bahru, Pasir Gudang and Ulu Tiram, so families moving between Masai and the surrounding area keep the same teacher and the same plan.
Secondary schools in Masai
According to the official KPM secondary-school list (as at 30 June 2022), Masai has 9 secondary schools teaching roughly 8,992 students, including 8 national secondary schools (SMK), 1 arts schools. Among the largest are Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bandar Seri Alam (1,664 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Permas Jaya (1,259 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seri Alam 2 (1,256 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Taman Rinting 2 (1,157 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Permas Jaya 2 (993 students).
Most sit in the town centre.
Every one teaches the same national SPM Physics syllabus (code 4531), so whatever school a Masai student attends, a one-to-one online lesson can go straight to the chapter they keep losing marks on. We are an independent service, not affiliated with any of these schools, and make no ranking or results claims.
Getting started in Masai
Message us on WhatsApp with the student's form (Form 4 or Form 5) and the chapter they find hardest. We reply the same day, assign a suitable teacher from our team, and arrange a paid one-hour trial, a real lesson, from RM50/hr, so the family can judge the fit before continuing.
