Three habits separate a B from an A in SPM Physics, and none needs a laboratory: definitions written in one exact sentence, a unit on every line of working, and diagrams drawn with every label. A Sarikei student drills all three in the first few lessons.

Among the largest are Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan St Anthony (1,469 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tinggi Sarikei (849 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sarikei Baru (835 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bandar Sarikei (818 students); Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sg Paoh (812 students).
Most sit in the town centre.
